FAQ

1. What web hosting can I use to ensure proper performance of private site?

Web hosting must provide PHP scripting. Fopen and Mkdir functions must be activated, because private sites are automatically updating. Apache’s mod_rewrite function must be also activated.

2. I was faced with the following error messages while installing a private site:
1) Invalid access to T3Feed folder
2) Invalid access to Resource folder

T3feed and Resource folders can’t be installed to web hosting. You should give 777 rights for writing to the folder where you want private site files to be installed.

3. How can I add a new directory to T3Feed?

To add a new directory – “new part” you must create a “m_new-part” block. A new directory will be accessible by clicking the following links:
domain-name.com/new-part
domain-name.com/new-part.html
domain-name.com/articles/new-part.php

4. A form added through <t3feed type=payday> macros is sprawled to the whole width of page. Can I set width limits for the form?

The form width can be limited by width_3 parameter. It’s initial value - 100%. In example, <t3feed type=payday width_3=600> macros will decrease the form width to 600.

Feed installation process:

1) Enter “Add private website” section in the “Websites” directory

2) Choose a design for your private site

3) Enter your private site's domain name (Indicate a folder if you need it. In example: my-website.com/payday/)

4) Download T3Feed file and install it to web hosting

5) Indicate login & password for your private site. You should also indicate site title, description and keywords

6) Click “Setup Feed” button. If the private site isn’t registered in T3leads.com affiliate program, it will be registered in automatic mode. You only need to enter your T3Login and T3Password (Your login and password in T3leads.com affiliate program)

6.1) GIVE 777 RIGHTS TO ROOT DIRECTORY WHERE PRIVATE SITE FILES ARE INSTALLED

6.2) DON’T CREATE T3FEED AND RESOURCE FOLDERS!

Installation process is completed!

Many large companies who are not internet service providers also need a computer permanently connected to the web so they can send email, files, etc. to other sites. They may also use the computer as a website host so they can provide details of their goods and services to anyone interested. Additionally these people may decide to place online orders.

* Free web hosting service: Free web hosting and domain registration is offered by different companies with limited services, sometimes advertisement-supported web hosting, and is often limited when compared to paid hosting.

* Shared web hosting service: one's Web site is placed on the same server as many other sites, ranging from a few to hundreds or thousands web host. Typically, all domains may share a common pool of server resources, such as RAM and the CPU. The features available with this type of service can be quite extensive. A shared website may be hosted with a reseller.

First of all the company which facilitates you its hosting services, should be reliable and providing best services. If the company is fake you have to face such problems again and again. So, utilize the facilities of some popular companies.
